Around the Water

The Swimming-Pool
Enjoy our swimming pool open from May to October, with a heated indoor basin, an outdoor pool and a paddling pool for the little ones. Whatever the weather, swimming and relaxation are on the programme in a leafy setting.

The beach
You’ll enjoy the biggest beach of the Lake.. Gently sloping, it will delight you with its large lawns and clear waters. It is of course free of charge for campsite customers, with direct access, but remains accessible to external visitors. It is supervised on weekends in June and every day in July-August (subject to weather conditions).
You will also find on site a playground for children as well as a volleyball court, deckchair rental and a restaurant bar.
Nautical rentals (fishing boats and paddles) are available at the restaurant, during it’s opening period.
The beach is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Dogs and glass bottles are not allowed on the beach.

Aquatic Area
A space dedicated to small and big children with water jets to cool off.
This playground works intermittently (tank filling time).

Water Sports
Paladru lake is idéal ideal for learning about water sports or improving your skills. In addition to paddles and boat rentals directly on the beach of the campsite (contact the restaurant l’Annexe), several service providers around the lake will offer lessons, but also the possibility of renting pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats, catamarans, windsurfing boards, … , …
Our partners can also take care of you directly on site. So, don’t hesitate to book your sailboat tour, your catamaran course or optimist lessons for children…

Fishing
Lake Paladru is ideal for fishing … for frying, as for large fish (Lavarets, pike, perch, etc.).. However, it is easier to fish from a boat… which we rent if you are not equipped (ask the restaurant).
However, we have the largest beach on the lake. Fishing is authorized from the beach with your feet in the water outside bathing hours, half an hour before sunrise and half an hour after sunset.
Lake Paladru being reciprocal, it is possible to fish from the shore with the Isère permit or with the interfederal permit. To fish from a boat, a right of navigation is requested by the SCI du lac, as well as the right to fish from a boat in your card or permit.

The relaxation area with sauna and jacuzzi
Our private wellness area, nestled within the pool enclosure, invites you to pure relaxation. Sauna and jacuzzi await for a wellness moment alone or with loved ones, in a calm and serene setting.



Clapotins Kids Club
In July and August, our entertainers welcome your children free of charge five days a week at the Clapotins Kids Club. Water games, creative workshops, sports activities and treasure hunts shape their days in a safe, nature-filled environment.



Play areas and sports grounds
The campsite offers two play areas designed for children: a large wooden play area with monkey bridge and slide set on the beach, and a smaller one with slide and swings at the heart of the campsite. Your children burn off energy in complete safety, under your watchful eye.

32 minutes from the campsite, Wake Up Park combines cable ski tow, snack bar and landscaped beach in a leafy setting. Modules for confirmed riders and family-friendly access.

Ablock — Bouldering Gym
23 minutes from the campsite, Ablok Voiron is the leading bouldering gym of the Voiron area. Nearly 1,000 m² of colourful problems, friendly atmosphere, from age 6.

Karting de Crolles
57 minutes from the campsite, Karting de Crolles offers a 600-metre outdoor track open to drivers from age 7. Adult karts, junior karts and parent-child two-seater karts share the racing experience.

La Balme Caves
52 minutes from the campsite, the Caves of La Balme reveal a spectacular underground world once roamed by Mandrin. Guided visit of about one hour, accessible from age 4.

46 minutes from the campsite, a dive into history at the heart of this listed medieval town: 14th-century halls, ramparts, paved alleys and former convent.

Grenand Waterfalls
25 minutes from the campsite, a refreshing course along the Grenand stream in La Bridoire, Savoy. Several tiers and pools in a wooded setting.

Echaillon Gorges
36 minutes from the campsite, a landscape carved by the Guiers Mort at the gateway of the Chartreuse Park. Balcony trail along the limestone cliffs.

Pisserotte Waterfall
30 minutes from the campsite, the Pisserotte Waterfall is a Chartreuse hidden gem in Saint-Joseph-de-Rivière. Short trail to this cascade framed by moss and ferns, particularly impressive in spring.

Saint-Même Cirque
58 minutes from the campsite, the Saint-Même Cirque is one of the natural jewels of the Chartreuse Park. Several waterfalls cascade down the limestone cliffs forming an exceptional mineral amphitheatre, source of the Guiers Vif river.

EXO 3D Brégnier-Cordon
30 minutes from the campsite, EXO 3D extends over Lac de la Pierre at the border of Ain, Isère and Savoie. Five-pylon cable park for wakeboarding, water-skiing and kneeboarding, boat for slalom and a riverside snack-bar. Open from age 7.

Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye medieval village
1h05 from the campsite, a Gothic gem of Dauphiné and one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, gathered around its 13th-century abbey church. Cobbled lanes, half-timbered houses, medieval covered market and a departmental museum — France’s Favourite Village in 2025.

Saint-Christophe Caves & Voie Sarde
36 minutes from the campsite, at the gateway to the Chartreuse range, this historic site brings together two developed caves and the spectacular Voie Sarde, an ancient royal road carved into the cliff by the Dukes of Savoy. Giant potholes, suspended walkway, panoramic views.

Choranche Caves
1h15 from the campsite, in the heart of the Bourne gorges, the Choranche Caves reveal an underground world unique in Europe with thousands of translucent straw stalactites. Two underground rivers and an immersive sound and light show in the Cathedral Hall.

Postman Cheval’s Ideal Palace
1h from the campsite, in Hauterives, Drôme, the Ideal Palace is the solitary work of postman Ferdinand Cheval, built stone by stone over thirty-three years from 1879 to 1912. Listed as a historic monument by André Malraux, this masterpiece of naïve art fascinates architects and artists alike.
